Lurking ....

In the pile where TM puts wood to dry, I spotted these. It looks as if he's maybe thinking of making a pair of clogs?

Ice skates might be more useful. The gritter got stuck on our hill this morning, and we were alarmed to see it sliding  backwards past our gate. Eventually the driver managed to reverse down without ending up in the ditch.

We may get out tomorrow :-)
