Ice on a Rock Pool
There were many rock pools with ice on them this morning, some quite thick. You could see pebbles in the pools and the blue sky reflecting on the ice.
It`s been a beautiful sunny day, blue sky and very little wind. We walked on the coastal path which was icy in some bits and muddy in others, so not really much fun to walk on. But I was keen to take some macro shots of frosty leaves and ice on puddles. It was a bonus to find it on rock pools. So I was in my element.
Then came back and walked around the town before stopping at The Hub, which is the village Grocery, Pharmacy, Newsagent, and Post Office. They have been delivering orders to local people free of any delivery charge throughout the pandemic. It`s a small shop and has a policy of "one in ,one out", so there is often a queue. but, not today.
When we got home and warmed up I spent an hour or so with the photos I`d taken, then watched a documentary on iplayer; "Yemen: Coronavirus in a War Zone". Startling and harrowing, and deeply humbling.
