Sunbathing in January

I think this pony had found the warmest part of a frost covered field.

Walked nearly 7.5 miles in sunshine  today as snow is forecast overnight so I'm not sure how easy it will be to get out and about. 

End destination had a place to buy some food for cooking tomorrow. 

On the walk back I managed to slide down a very steep, muddy path/ stream and ended up sitting in the stream (it was absolutely freezing!) I had to walk home covered in mud

I've decided to add a couple of extras today as I really liked these hippy looking animals. They seemed to be keeping an eye on me as I took some photos.
