Project 365 day 22: Frosty Windows

It was a bright, cold morning with vivid blue sky and a very heavy frost. These branching patterns of interweaving foliage are the most intricate I've ever seen on our Velux windows. The sparkly morning mellowed into a golden afternoon, the loveliest day in weeks. Sadly, I couldn't get out for a walk today, but I enjoyed a short wander round the garden after lunch, with low winter sun warm on my back. The extra is a view over our orchard hedge, looking across the valley to the hilltops.
