Splash!
I'm spoilt for choice today for my blip! Took the camera out on an early frosty and sunny walk to see how the flood water was shifting and came back with a nice range of images to play with. The meadow I usually walk on has been underwater for a week or so but today it was possible to get around the edges. The path through the middle is more accessible today but I didn't fancy a paddle. However lots of people did and I watched two young women cycle through the water, they were thoroughly enjoying it, like kids.
I don't underestimate how devastating flooding is (my house has been inundated twice so I get it) but visually a vast expanse of water that isn't usually there is so interesting - it transforms the landscape and I find it endlessly fascinating.
The extra is the surface of an icy puddle in the sun; I've rarely seen so much ice on the meadow as there was today.
