Dartmoor Ponies

I haven't seen any of the large groups of ponies for a while, they all seem to have split up into smaller groups of 4 or 5. I would imagine most of the groups contain a stallion and the rest are mares. By the look of them, some of the females are pregnant already. The dark brown ones are quite hard to photograph as you cant see there features and these are the color of the traditional Dartmoor Pony. This year other than the grays like this one, I haven't seen many light colored ones.

What are they looking at?

A black and white spaniel may have something to do with it!
