Inauguration Day in the USA

There was snow on the car at first light as I made an essential journey but luckily not as bad as forecast. When we walked on the beach in the afternoon it had all gone but there was still a chill in the air.

On our way home we took a detour round the St Mark's Churchyard (See Extra) to look at the old graves. One was for a serviceman from WW2 and next to it a  grave for a Biden family.

It was good to watch the departure of the 45th President and the inauguration of the 46th. I don't envy his to do list but hope he makes good progress with it.
