Morning light through tangled branches

Taking a break in my 13-hour shift to post today's blip. It's been quite mentally tiring but has been also loads of fun - I've mostly just been hanging out with two of my clients, having tea and chatting. I'm cooking someone else's dinner at the moment, but in a wee bit I'll be back with them to cook their dinner then do some last housework before cycling home.

I'm very lucky to have this work - it's giving my life a lot of purpose and structure, especially since everyone else at home is back at school/work. The chance to earn some money is pretty great too! I'll be starting back with online classes next week, which I'm looking forward to, although I'm not hopeful about getting back to St Andrews this semester :(

Weather forecast for tomorrow looks relatively dry, so hopefully I can have a ride on the Dawes and sort out any kinks before I adopt it as my bike. Hoping that Thursday is dry as well - a soaking wet cycle for a vaccination appointment would be a bit of a bummer!

Stay safe and take care of yourselves - O
