The Big Shake

Another cloudless blue sky dawned. It's getting a bit monotonous really. I do feel for those areas of New Zealand that have declared themselves "Drought Zones".
We are getting near to becoming a Drought Zone here in Marlborough with one of our big community irrigation schemes likely to be cut back , even cut off, if we have no significant rain by the end of this week.
The dogs were feeling the heat down on the Taylor River tracks today. Gypsy, being black, is particularly vulnerable and is always the first to hunt out and find a rare pool in which to cool off.
Here she is..THE BIG SHAKE...no, not an earthquake....just Gypsy! The tiny bit of blue is her registration tag.
I was lucky to be standing well back from the water's edge.
