Doggie Friends

Both Fergus and Gypsy were on their best behaviour today. They had no option. They did not get the chance to go near to where they had rolled in rotten fish carcasses yesterday.
Murray the Ranger had done a good cleanup but I suspect the dust and dirt in that area was still pretty rank. I wasn't taking any chances.
I walked the dogs on their leads well clear of the spot.
Further along the track they were allowed off their leads and met up with Susie, a regular runner.
Susie is sad because her lovely Border Collie, Jet, has health issues and is unable to run with her at present. She needed a dog cuddle.
Just as well she didn't meet my two yesterday. So shiny black Gypsy and gleaming gold Fergus had a real big fuss made of them ... They lapped it up as dogs do..
