Favourite trees

This morning was fairly bright so we all decided to go for a local walk.  We headed out along the river before heading inland and then back along the coast path.  It was a bit muddier than the past few days due to the rain yesterday but not too bad.  At one point you get this view with our favourite trees, the Scots pines clump in the distance.  It was an enjoyable walk with many people out also walking but there is enough space on the majority of the walk for social distancing.

After lunch I got round to making some chutney with the last of the cranberries and then also making an apple cake, both of which turned out well.
