Sweeney Todd

I was a co-founder of Edinburgh Music Theatre Company and business manager for a few years.  In May 1986 the company produced Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh. The cast were amateur but the creative team professional and the aim was to put on a production that set higher artistic standards than some of the amateur companies. The show was directed by Alan Lyddiard, Associate Director was Rita Henderson; the musical director John Moore, Costumes and set by Neil Murray.
