A Shot in the Arm

A record of my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, with my name, batch number and date on the reverse side of this card. Also space for the second appointment, whenever that turns out to be.

I had to stand outside for about fifteen minutes, but everyone was cheerful, as people have been throughout the pandemic. The NHS staff were brilliant and, once inside, the process was painless and efficient.

I read moans about customers refusing to wear masks in supermarkets. I don't think I've seen a single adult without a mask since wearing of them became mandatory.
