A New Hope

No Luke Skywalker, no Darth Vader...just the local walk-in medical centre where - tomorrow, all being well - I will receive my first Covid vaccination.

There is further optimism in the news that those who have had the virus, and recovered, are now thought to have a similar degree of immunity to that conferred by the vaccination.

On a personal level, an absolute bummer (as our US friends say), that shortly after taking this shot I dropped my lovely little Sony HX-90, with seriously expensive consequences. Shops not open, trying to google repairs, not very hopeful.

Camera + concrete = termination, I fear.
