We both had good mornings. I finished my gift for Jenny and D a painting job. We watched the second episode of The Night Manager over lunch. A first for us, television at lunchtime. Brilliant drama though. Then a shall we shan’t we discussion about a walk...

Always good to go out though and another first. The Park Langley golf course. Not being used at the moment and we kept to the perimeter and off the greens. A vast area. Our oldest son when he was about six, asked about the game of golf, if the man wants to get the ball into the hole, why didn’t he get nearer?

We bought two pizzas for dinner and have watched the third episode of The Night Manager while enjoying a glass of wine. Saturday evening!
