Fluffy Zebra?!

Not a great night for me at least, awake between 2-4, then asleep until 7.30, then awake again :-/ The rain and wind kept me a
up, it poured down all night! Hub slept well!

Once we were awake, I went down to get breakfast sorted, hub put tv on to catch up on the cricket. Cornflakes and cheese on toast for hub, fruit and yogurt for me.

Today has been a mix of housework, cooking, an hour or so sat doing a bit more of our jigsaw. Lunch was chicken bacon mayo & salad roll.

I took myself off out for a walk, finally, a bit breezy but not too cold. Walked down into town, the route we always used to take.....past the culvert, which was overflowed into the ground either side! Treated myself to a Costa once I got to the shopping precinct, steered clear of people entirely, kept my mask on until I was well away from anyone. Only 6k steps but much more than Ive managed of late.

Once back home, went into the back garden to find todays blip. Noticed the zebra grass had flowered..however my phone could not focus on it as it was blowing around in the wind, so you will have to excus my fluffy pink gloved hand holding it steady!!

Hub got his coat on and came outside to join me for a wander around.......hes done around 700 steps today, eaten really well again too :-)

Watched a bit of sport on tv late afternoon, did a bit more jigsaw, probably 2/3s done now ;-)
Gammon, egg, jacket potato & corn on the cob for dinner this evening, Just watched the Masked Singer, what a weird programme that is!! Just waiting for The Voice.....found out that an old friends son is on the programme tonight, apparently he's called Sweeney! Hope he is good!
