Flying in at #21

We slept well......woke up to freezing fog and a heavy frost so we were in no rush to get up.
Breakfast was cornflakes, a toasted scone and a banana. Chatted to sis in law on line, they too were sat in bed reading the paper with a brew ;-)

I finished off a bit more shredding whilst hub got up and went downstairs, ready before me this morning ;-) Hes got a bit of a niggle in a tooth, not sure if its a filling causing the problem, so is a bit worried if it will impact on his next cycle, due to commence Tuesday. We were hoping the nurse would ring back today but hasnt, so we need to bottom this out on Monday.

Inbetween doing the shredding, I heard the unmistakable sound of a small bird chirping beneath the window, luckily had taken the camera upstairs with me......sure enough I spotted this little dunnock sitting on the fence.

Daughter messaged to say she would drop our groceries off late morning, as she was popping to Maccy D's for Emilys lunch treat. I asked her if she would pick up something for hubs lunch, hes partial to a quarter pounder with cheese & some fries.....they were subsequently delivered, still nice & warm, along with a mountain of buttery mash that she had made for our freezer and said groceries :-) Lunch for me was some potato hash from the freezer with a nice coffee.

Our quiz neighbour dropped off a few things Id asked for from their butchers. The afternoon came and went, amid doing the jigsaw, cooking a beef & mushroom stroganoff for dinner this evening, hub watched a bit of horseracing too.

Dinner was lovely, just had the stroganoff with plain brown n white boiled rice followed by peaches with artic roll, real blast from the past dessert lol!

We are currently watch Jamie & Jimmy on the Pier, then it will be on to Googlebox and probably Graham Norton if we can last lol!!

We caught Boris earlier tonight, I dont really like hub listening to it to be honest, especially once the media start with all their negativity and sensationalising, scary enough as it is!!
