Here Today

Gone Tomorrow, probably. Tulip 'Little Red Riding Hood', grown in a bowl indoors and looking rather fragile. But brightening up another dull day.

My exercise consisted of 7 circuits of the path round the outside of the house, and once round the perimeter of the garden, or as close to it as I could get - I wasn't going to attempt the wilder bits.  That added up to a miserable 3000 steps.

Cyril the Squirrel is visiting regularly (Extra). Yesterday he managed to wreck one of the seed feeders that hang on the kitchen window. Today he had a good go at another one - in spite of Percy flailing out at him from the safety of the worktop. He didn't succeed in knocking this one to the ground. I expect he'll be round again tomorrow for another go.

Night 2 of Celtic Connections, Shooglenifty, amongst others. It must be 25 years since we saw them live at La Belle Angele. Maybe we'll have a little jig around the sitting room ....
