Spot the Heron!

This afternoon we took Chloe for a stroll along the canal towpath. We were delighted to find it completely ice and slush free. 
I just caught sight of this heron peering between the twin trunks of a tree on the far bank. 
Apart from the heron, I spotted numerous mallard, two pairs of goosander, a few coot and one moorhen.
No frost forecast again for tonight so we should be fine for an early morning walk tomorrow.
