A different path home

There was little in the market this morning. Patrique, the fishmonger, was not there so the usual Saturday menu had to be changed. Mrs TT made a leek, broccoli and spinach pie while I made ginger cookies as my M and S supply has finally run out. I took in the supermarket on today's walk. The roads and paths were almost completely clear so I was surprised to find so much snow and ice on the path I had decided to return on by the river. It was quite treacherous and I had to plod very carefully on the more crunchy bits to get a good footing.
