Sledging School

An afternoon with the boys meant an afternoon to play out in the snow. We borrowed our neighbours sledges and headed to the local slope. Happy to bump into the Scopes' there and all the kids sledded together (apart from L who refused to even sit in the sled with me let alone go down the baby hill). Home for hot chocolates, tea, and 'the snowman' before their parents finished work. A successful afternoon of homeschooling!

Pictured is the view from the top of the hill. It had been beautifully sunny all morning (even donned my sunnies for a bit) but then the fog came this afternoon and created beautiful light. This is Cottingley Towers just peaking out.

Thankfuls:
- time to enjoy the snow with the boys
- the Wells' sleds
- mountain rescue (when we arrived at the sledding hill there was an ambulance crew arriving to help a guy who have fallen badly whilst trying to do a jump or something - he wasn't that far from the bottom but the icy conditions meant they ended up calling mountain rescue to get him safely down on a stretcher)
