The nursery.

One of my favourite tasks as a garden designer - visiting a plant nursery. And today was the first visit of the year to one in the centre of Scotland. I was looking for trees and shrubs with pink blossom & flowers for a client in Edinburgh.

Two other designers - Joy and Fiona - came with me. We spent hours there, wandering around the glasshouses ogling all the beautiful trolleys of plants. I managed to find loads of plants I had on my planting list which just added to my enjoyment of the day.

I took so many photos that my phone battery died before I could take a decent blip. Thankfully Joy kindly let me use her to take this photo - a huge delivery of plants had just arrived and was being unloaded. Even more goodies for us to choose from.

It's a dirty old job but someone's gotta to do it.
