Swing

Slow morning, I had to make a phone call, so the boys were still in PJ's at 9.30... we were a bit behind all morning really.  Little bit of work this afternoon, but only for the eldest, the youngest has played with tractors almost all day and counted to 6 a few times, probably not as much as his teacher would like.  Although when he was asked to get 6 forks out of the draw, he got 5 and then said he needed one more, so maybe my teaching is actually having some kind of success. Eldest got 6/6 in his spelling test, I couldn't have said the words more times, or more slowly though!

As ever, we needed to be outside for some of the day and took ourselves out for an afternoon walk, does the world of good for everyone, although the mud and dirt is starting to really annoy me.

Today I'm grateful for:
Positive conversation this morning
The youngest telling me he is going to put the virus in the bin and stamp on it - I think we all feel like that at the moment
The puppy walking to heel - without a lead on, with the boys racing around ahead of him - it's a minor miracle! To give him his due, he is great off-lead and his recall is really good.  On lead is another story!
