The White House
Lockdown 3 - Day 11
We've finally had a blue sky and sunshine today, and I've been very productive. I washed and dried the bedding, took the boys for a walk with Alan at lunch time, and this afternoon I've been cleaning the decking and made a start on the fence.
A layer of lime green algae has formed on parts of the fence and decking over the the last few months, so I googled how best to remove it, and the tip was 1 part bleach to 2 parts water. I decided to work on the terraced area first and got my scrubbing brush and started on the fence, then hosed it down and decided to do the decking as well. It already looks so much better and is necessary before it can be repainted when the weather's better. It seems to have cleaned up really well, but I'll see tomorrow after it's dried.
I'm just watching the Coronavirus briefing, then I'm going to make a Red Thai curry and tonight is date night in the Palace.
As for my Blip, this house is called St Michael's and is in the fields behind us, and we can just see the turrets from where we are. It's a fabulous looking place with lots of land around it.
Stay safe and have a good weekend!
