White Lady Walk

New snow overnight. As it is a quiet morning at work, I dash to the park to take Extra 1. Blue skies. It would be nice to continue up to the Pentland Hills, but work must be carried out. At least there's coffee and cake from the local café to look forward to as it is Friday.

It is very cold out there. The snow hasn't melted during the morning despite the sunshine. I walk past the very aptly named White Lady Walk.

I finish at three as eldest son has come to deliver christmas presents because they weren't delivered to him before christmas. He lives near the coast and is surprised (as we can't meet inside) just how much snow we have as there is none where he lives. The sledgers are enjoying the conditions. The snow on top of ice means very fast conditions. Extra 2 shows not much melting has happened during the whole day.
