A chicken joke?

I cleaned the hen house today and my reward was this selection of eggs! I suspect the joke egg was laid by Brunhild as a thank you for all the care and attention lavished on her! She hasn’t been laying until now as she was still in recovery I think, but I do hope she can do better than that!
In extra, another finished patchwork square, they seem to get more difficult each month so I am rather dreading what will be in the next issue! Having so many small triangles makes getting everything squared up really tricky, so I am pleased with it. Rob even recognised it as a bowl of fruit so that’s impressive!
And breaking news, they have voted to impeach Trump so bated breath to see his response!
