A New Tree

On the day when I discovered a new solitary tree. The underfoot conditions became very wet from here. It must be twenty years since I'd passed this way and I was reminded why it's been so long. A bit desperate at the moment for some novelty in my daily exercise. The snow provided that for a few days, but now it's gone - and how astonishingly quickly that happened - it requires some considerable effort to find anywhere new in running radius of home.
