Mono Monday

A grey day... The rain eased off and the wind grew but we managed a dry walk with Fletch, just local round the streets but plenty of grass verges for him to sniff..

The light was poor so not the best day for photographs but thanks to Picturemull's inspiration  for Mono Monday I managed a photo and had a bit of fun editing.  We were to take inspiration from  her photo of a bridge. Part reminded me of piano keys..so.. heres my contribution .

The plant fleeces finally arrived ( to protect our more vulnerable bonsai) Ordered from Amazon for £4.99, advertised as In Stock they have taken 12 days to reach us as they set off from Italy . Rome then to Carpi ( customs clearance), to France (more customs clearance) to the UK . It got to the UPS depot 60 miles from us, then up to Carlisles depot 96 miles from us... What a journey!

As it's gone milder, we wont need them for a while!  But we are now prepared.

I'm trying to stay "in the moment" mentally. It's hard when we know this lockdown may last a long time. Chatting to a camera club member from Melbourne today. They are now out of a 7 month lockdown. I hope it wont be that long.

Safe safe  and healthy everyone  x
