Dead end?

There are no dead ends, just changes of direction.

Firmly putting my positive head on today :-)

My feet are finally starting to behave so managed a brief walk around town* today. Grey and cold but nice to be out and about. I'm definitely feeling a bit contrary today so when all the tourists started pointing their cameras at the cathedral I started taking photos in the opposite direction. Not surprisingly I ended up with lots of photos of walls and doorways! Oh and I ended up forgetting to buy the bread I went out for. Oops.

Time now for a spot of housework (yawn), a little basic French and then out for a works dinner. Does free food compensate for giving up my evening on a non-work day? Corporate speak with no alcohol. Yuck. Reminds me why I preferred being self-employed. Still I know the big boss from a previous incarnation as a locum for one of their contracts in London and I know that if I play it right I can spend the whole evening talking rugby. Phew, rescued it - the positive head was losing out to the cynical one!

* ok so it's a city but it sounds so posh when you say it like that. And even in London I always said I was popping into town.
