Visitors

Uncle George or properly, Georg and his Swedish-born wife, Stina or more properly, Christina over to visit us from Germany by car, bringing Granny Adele to stay with us for a week while they did a tour of the UK.

Like many of the photos of this period it is quite a bit of detective work to get dates about right, often have a problem with years, never mind months. The clothing and state of the garden would suggest spring and the shutters on the house that it was 1974 rather than 1973. We did a lot of decoration/modernisation in 1971/2/3 having bought the house in 1970 but my parents away most of 1970 and partly 1971/2 while my father worked in Greece and Turkey good 6 months of the year.
