Castle Hill

Last night I stayed in Springfield - where I used to live (20 years ago).
Today I drove to Hokitika - where I also used to live (35 years ago)

Theoretically the road was familiar but the reality was that there have been a lot of changes, so whilst there were many 'memory' moments there were also a number of 'huh, what' moments.

My blip is of Castle Hill. Amazing natural rock formations that rock climbers flock to. I've also included photos of the Arthur's Pass sign and one of the State Highway - one of the iconic views I recall so clearly from previous trips.

Ive also added one of Hokitika beach. This is taken from right outside the back gate of my parents old house in Hokitika. Can't complain about having this as a backyard.

My brother and I met up in our respective motor homes and are now camped side by side at the nzmca camp in Hokitika.
