Project 365 day 9: my money plant is flowering!

The largest of my money plants is 41 years old. It is one of several rooted from pieces broken from a very large and beautiful plant which was knocked over and damaged at the end of a university ball. My now husband and I carefully retrieved a few bits, and discovered they are very easy to root in a glass of water. The original plants have moved through our lives and their many descendants have been dispersed far and wide. They thrive on neglect, and after two or three decades I discovered that they also flower, often prolifically and for several weeks, in the darkest days of the year. It's especially good to see them in bloom this winter.
