Lockdown Survival Present

This pressie arrived yesterday from my eldest stepson, Jack who is staying with his girlfriend and her family in Cambridgeshire. He wasn’t able to see us at Christmas so he had to post it . It was really heavy so after much speculation- food, wine etc - we opened it .
What a brilliant present for the three of us - a set each of whittling tools, ash sticks anc a book on woodwork. Jack has found it therapeutic in Lockdown. He has left his job in Africa as he wasn’t prepared to travel back there in the current pandemic.
A quiet jigsaw, reading sort of day.
