Normal!

Pixie's CBC came back normal for the second visit! Her skin is also starting to look better after the dermatologist diagnosed her with an infection he put her on antibiotics, oral and topical. I'm seeing a little dog with so much more energy! She is back to following me everywhere I go and barking through the window when I pull in the drive. The specialty vet said we could do CBC checks at her normal vet for now and we'll decrease the prednisone again in another two weeks. Things are looking so much better for my little companion which makes my heart happy.

On another note, I did get the Maderna Covid vaccine back on 12/28/2020. I didn't say anything about it then, it's just something that needs to be done. I just want to note and let people know that on Wednesday of this week, a full week and a half after getting it, I did have a little reaction. Right after my arm was very soar for a couple of days, think tetanus shot but otherwise felt fine. I still feel fine, I just had some odd red coloring on the injection arm that was warm to the touch. The warmth has gone but the red color is still there. My primary doctor said they have seen this and an allergy pill and cold compress tends to clear it up. I was also informed getting the second shot should not be a problem. I just wanted to share the experience as knowledge is power.
