Returning to Nature

Dear Diary,

The wetlands near my house are not completely frozen which is rather odd in mid-January but we've had roller coaster temperatures so far this winter.  I thought some of these shapes looked like eyes staring up at me.  At least there are no major storms in the near future and I'm grateful for that.  The best news yesterday was that Twitter has banned Trump for life.  He's lost his ability to easily spread lies and rile up his despicable base.  Also, the right wing agitators have withdrawn a request for another permit to rally in DC next week.  With the FBI rounding up the seditionists maybe the fever has broken.
