Frozen

We had to Click and Collect at Morrison's so we stopped off on the way to Skipton to get something off the boat. If only we'd thought to bring matches with us as the padlock was frozen.
Frank kept his hands round it and breathed on it for ages and eventually it thawed.
We really want to be on the boat but it's just not practical with Bella as if she's inside she can't see out and it would be too cold have her sitting on the icy deck all day as she would like to. We'll wait a few days till the ice is gone. We have no qualms about being on the boat in freezing weather as the woodburner keeps it toasty. We'll just have to be patient :-)

The cupboards are full again so we don't need to go anywhere
which makes me happy and less stressed.
I think I'll manage a decent walk this afternoon as my knee is almost back to normal and the exercise would do me amd my knee good.

I received an order of shampoo and conditioner bars today from a UK company called Grüum. I saw them advertised on FB so thought I'd give them a try.

I feel so sorry and worried for our NHS staff just now with numbers of Covid cases rising so much and so fast. Having been a nurse on a busy surgical ward which had to also make room for winter illnesses patients, I know how hard it is not to have enough time to answer buzzers for infirm patients who are in pain or need the loo or help with eating and drinking but that was easy compared with now. What they are dealing with at present is 100x worse and I just can't imagine how they are coping. Many tears I would think.

Will Trump be impeached? I heard he wanted to fly to his golf course in Scotland while the inauguration is going on but good old Nicola has said NO! However Glasgow Prestwick has been told there is a US military plane expected on the day before the inauguration! Surely not...:-0

We've just had our elevenses and now the day stretches ahead ready to be filled with whichever activities tickle my fancy. A bit o' this, a bit o' that, but first a tidy up is required!
How can two people make such an untidy mess?
