Autumn colours of Summer.

Drove back from Pauanui today with Emma. Stopping off at the Bugger Cafe for a coffee and berry smoothy.
Alastair and Julie came back in the Mazda together.
Good weather all the way and the journey was quiet and quick.
Back in Auckland, the weather was hot and sticky. 
As we were driving my attention was drawn to this magnificent splash of colour a few streets from home. Looked quite autumnal, but it is the middle of summer. Great orange and reds set against the blue sky.
Going to stain the new fence black tomorrow so I went to get the materials from Bunnings.
Alastair packed his suitcase up as he is going to Dunners tomorrow for his last year at Uni, then went out on a date for the evening.
Emma went out with friends to Cornwall Park.
