We had a sprinkling of snow overnight. It was enough to cover the ice which is still on the pond and the nearby loch. When I went for a walk I was surprised to find icicles hanging from a small crag (extra) as I thought that these would have melted yesterday.
Other interesting sights today were: a goldcrest feeding under the bird table this morning, a small herd of five red deer grazing on the skyline behind our house in the late afternoon.
