The last of the ice

It was grey and damp today and quite a few degrees milder, yet the last of the ice is still hanging around the "waterfall" into the pond, proof of how thick it was. Despite the weather, the day was quite enjoyable with a combination of catching up with some jobs (washing, cooking, sewing), a game of chess and a bit of TV this evening.
