Skiddaw Little Man

Our permitted exercise today took us to the top of Skiddaw, via Skiddaw Lesser Man and Skiddaw Little man. We were treated to possibly the best walk and conditions ever! Fabulous snow, and wonderful changing cloud and lighting conditions. We experienced at least three fogbows (extra) I loved the way the gate and style stood out tonally from the blue sky and snow, (extra). The halo of low cloud floating over Skiddaw Little Man (main pic) was spellbinding. Visibility through the day varied from totally clear to a matter of inches!

Walked 8 miles, managed a 3200 foot mountain, and took 270 photographs. All that and got home in time for a late lunch before Deb started work.
