To be eaten....

This is a public service blip for any local blippers who get an East Coast Organics veg box - we'll all have had the email warning us that supplies of organic veg from, erm, overseas may be intermittent, so I was pleasantly surprised by some....tomatoes! Quite a lot of the previously discussed beetroot, natch. Butternut squash - hmm, probably from the US of A. Oh, and a mighty celeriac - I shall have to be mindful of its existence and not let it reach the extraordinary condition that CarolineJay's did!

In other news, the handle on the toilet cistern broke (well, the rod that connected it to the inner working parts). Had a visit from a v competent plumber who found replacements for our ancient system from the depths of her stores. She actually arrived before the veg box!

And I heard on the wires that Mr H found a really interesting skeleton....three separate pathologies! Haud me back!

That was quite enough excitement for one day, so I could have done without civil war trying to break out in Washington D.C.
