Sturdy

Finally managed to get up to the allotment - there was very little ice in evidence but a lot of wetness and mud. Decided against digging up any J. artichokes (anyway, I have yesterday's blip to eat my way through). Did find a couple of small radishes under the little tunnel - I shall make a tiny salad in celebration.

Seeing the broad beans looking so sturdy in spite of the frost and snow is quite cheering.
