Frozen

It's not often that this pond freezes over; being in a coastal town means that temperatures are often slightly higher than inland. I do have a memory of a cold spell years ago which froze the pond enough for games of ice hockey to take place, the local lads zipping around hoping to impress the lassies. The boys in this scene weren't so confident and were daring each other to walk out on the ice. From where I was standing it looked pretty thin so thankfully they gave up.
