A puzzler this one

I received  this Christmas Card unsigned,  I have no idea who it's from, I have checked all the cards I have received against all the ones I sent out and I have got one from everyone, so it's evidently someone I didn't send a card to, I sometimes email greetings but on asking non of them sent me a card. At first reading I thought it was from someone called Charlie, I don't know a Charlie, then I realised it was the dogs name. It was correctly addressed to us by name so it wasn't delivered by mistake, and it was stamped North and West Yorkshire, so someone fairly local. I have one person left to see if it's her but  her dogs are usually whippets. I usually write to my friend when it's her birthday so I will ask her if the person I am thinking of has a large spotty dog called Charlie. If not the puzzle will remain.

It wasn't too bad a day quite bright and sunny although cold, I did a bit of early shopping at Lidl and have still got to get a few more bits tomorrow because the panic buyers have been out stripping the shelves of everything again, No loo roll!  why! . The assistants were filling the shelves as quick as they could but I didn't want to hang about too long  or the shop would have been getting busy. and I like to be gone by that time.

I have a few errands to do tomorrow (essential) so it could be a busy day. Then hopefully I wont have to go far for a couple of weeks at least except for milk.

Autumns birthday presents arrived today  I think she will like the watch and the unicorn. they look OK
