Finch Winter Frolic

It’s been lightly snowing all day, and is likely to continue through this evening. Nuisance snow never amounts to much, only an inch or two. Nuisance snow never requires shoveling either. Nuisance snow is never a nuisance to me :) • The feeders have been busy all day with chickadees, nuthatches, and titmice mostly. The finches tend to swarm for a quick bite, then the group flies away to an unknown destination, only to return on the next fly through • I wish these two male house finches were clear and crisp but I find shooting in the snow and grayscale very challenging. I hope you like it anyway • No sign of Blipzen but we left him a pile of food and apples near the cherry tree • GA special election today, and protests planned in DC tomorrow.
