From a car window

A couple of days back, the forecast looked rather nice so I was all set for a wee sail with McC the younger and shipmate, but ach the forecast was horrid so we called it off. 
And just as well, as shortly thereafter I got a call from the son. He’s been getting very friendly of late with a young woman who unfortunately has a friend who works in a care home who has just tested positive. And now she is also showing symptoms and is self-isolating. The son is being pretty responsible so is doing likewise, but his household supplies are rather on the low side. A mercy mission via Asda is called for.
And later we hear the cabinet are meeting in the morning, Parliament is being recalled, and announcements will be made. Hard to see what more we can be stopped from doing. Maybe it’ll be just, whatever you’re doing, stop it. That should catch everything. Whether the virus will notice is a moot point.
