Little progress...

I’m thinking it could be ok to abandon this. The time for Santa’s Workshop has passed after all so I could try again next year. I’ll leave it where it is for a few more days. No one is coming to dinner so we won’t need the table.

We’ve had a very quiet day. We listened online to the service this morning, the first Sunday of 2021. We learnt later that Ian’s son, a hospital doctor, and his wife, a secondary school teacher, have tested positive for COVID 19, and other friends have family members who are unwell. That’s the nearest we’ve come to the virus. We have been reminded by some in our family to keep to the rules.

It will be a difficult week for my teaching friends, for pupils and parents. Also thinking of all doctors, nurses and patients right now.
