Lazy Sunday

Definitely “one of those days” today. Really couldn’t be bothered doing anything and, as a consequence, didn’t even get out of bed until lunchtime!
Thought we really should do something this afternoon though. It would be a shame if the plan of undertaking some sort of activity every day this year failed on day three!
Couldn’t be bothered with hills though so drove down, parked up and took a slow amble along the river and around town.
Seems we weren’t the only ones feeling lazy - I spotted a swan, not really paddling, just drifting down the river, going with the flow. And then we came across this squirrel. Someone had put a load of food on the wall and it was quite content sitting there, eating away. Didn’t even flinch when I started taking photos, and only reluctantly moved further up the tree when a whole posse of people and dogs went past!
Carried on with our leisurely stroll, grabbing a takeaway coffee on the way past Nero. Got back home and I realised I hadn’t stopped Strava when we finished the walk. Now it looks like that we walked 800M more than we actually did, and at a hell of a pace for that last bit!
Feeling slightly more energised now, we decided to make a start on taking the Christmas decorations down. Lost interest fairly quickly though and now back on the settee watching “Raiders of the Lost Ark” for the umpteenth time.
Oh well, not as if we’ve got anything else planned for tomorrow. Or the rest of the week. Or month....
