Sand, sea and sky
Perranuthnoe beach. Can you spot the surfers? See large.
How wonderful to wake up to sunshine!
Still quite cold, but it has been a wonderful day.
The morning spent having a walk round Porthleven, watching the surfers, who don't seem to feel the cold!
Coffee at "Naughty but Ice " Cafe.
Then drove to Perranuthnoe for lunch at the Peppercorn kitchen Cafe.
MrC had the venison , and I had the fish provencal. Both delicious.
A quick walk on the beach as the tide was nearly up, and then on to Marazion, where there were about 8 herons, all busy building their nests, in the marshes.
A nice walk along the beach, and a sit in the sun over looking St Michaels Mount.
(We found a sheltered spot out of the sneaky cold wind).
On the way back we called at a farm for a freshly picked cauliflower (50p! I paid over £1 for one at home!) So guess what we are having for tea!
That's our first full day in Cornwall, and we have so enjoyed it! Especially the sun!
Hope you have all had a good weekend.
Another shot of Perranuthnoe beach on my blipfolio see here
Couldn't decide which one to blip. MrC said he liked the first one best.
