Piz Arpiglia ski tour

With a forecast of snow this tour was chosen as a safe option. Oh it was such a delight! At times the clouds came over and the cold wind blew on the upper slopes, but I was so happy to reach the summit in winter. This peak sits on the opposite side of the valley to our home and I have never summited in winter. We skied on to the next col before descending down untracked powder slopes (see extra). What a privilege to have such amazing days out on the doorstep.
Later I went for a walk by the river with M in the sunshine before it started to snow again.
